VOCATION WEEK IN CEBU

There have been several gatherings of young people to meet together and to suggest ways of assisting in the mission of the Little Sisters. Sr. Ena also took part in a ‘vocation week ‘ in Cebu, an island in the Visayas. Several young women have requested more information about our Congregation and are keeping in contact with Sr. Ena by ‘texting’ or e’mail. There will be a follow up visit to Cebu soon.

Would you like to share your gifts, talents and time to volunteer to help in our Saturday out of school programme?

WE WILL BE HAPPY TO WELCOME YOU!

Gathering of Friends & Volunteers

A gathering of friends and volunteers of the Little Sisters in Malibay was on the 13th October, 2007. We welcomed 13 young women of prayer, spend sometimes to work with the children.

From our discussion and evaluation of this gathering, It appear to be a fulfilling and of interest to these youth and young adults who took part. They expressed their willingness to help in planning future events.

A Small Sister on mission in a working-class family: Table realize by Paul Wante in Belgium (1930)
We Are Women, Religious,
And Apostles, Called By God.

We assume the Missionary Project of our founders Etienne Pernet and Anrounelte Fage in an International Community. Revealing the tenderness and mercy of the Father for humanity, especially the weakest, the poor, workers and the families gathered together like ‘the people of God.’

We do that through simple gestures of service, like Jesus who lived servant and savior.

We are sensitive to all the problems that affect the poor, especially all that destroys the family, the “call of our society.”

We contribute from the stand-point of the poor to bring about a more just society.

Our apostolic project is lived in community

Sharing life…
Sharing the word…
Sharing the mission…

We look to Mary, a woman of faith, she gives us strength and hope to believe that a new world is possible among us.
