The Little Sisters of the Assumption have been in the Philippines since 2001. There 4 sisters in Malibay and 3 in Cebu.

We began our apostolate / mission with the people in Barangay 180 , Maricaban, Pasay City. It is normal for us to ask the people to help us identify their needs so that we can begin to work together at grass roots level. This is what we did, and from the beginning we have slowly worked out the programs and projects that we have today... these projects can be described under the headings of
Early Learning Education and Child Development, Health, Livelihood and Youth.
In July 2010, we established a Community in Cebu.
