Sr. Mary is responsible for the health project. There are 6 Filipino women who take responsibility for this project. There are 2 doctors; Dr. Ben, an urban poor community health advocate and instructor of the Community Health Workers (CHW) training, he comes every Friday to supervise and give additional instruction. Dr. Lee, a gynecologist to give maternal care and health talks for women. Sr. Alisi, a mid-wife is helping with women’s health and health teaching.

We see on average 30+ patients a day especially Monday and Friday. We sell the medicines at affordable prices to the people and many come to buy medicines everyday including Saturday and Sunday.

  • Cough and Cold
  • Skin diseases
  • Respiratory Infection
  • Asthma
  • Tonsilitis
  • Diabetes
  • Arthritis
  • Tuberculosis (TB)
  • Parasites
  • Urinary Traction Infection Test (UTI)
  • Ear Infection
  • Pregnancy Test
  • Pap smear Test
  • Health Teaching (Seminar – School, Adolescent, Community)

Health Education and early intervention in illness prevents big hospital bills. We can treat most of the patients at home with supervision by the community health workers.
